Anand sends Havana syndrome file to deputy, rules out new inquiry

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand has asked Deputy Minister Arun Thangaraj to handle the Havana syndrome cases as a human-resources matter. Her office says she will not reopen the 2024 report, which found no foreign malicious act and no common cause. Anand says the RCMP probe also reached no conclusive findings.
