Linklater films three of nine sections of 20-year Merrily We Roll Along

Richard Linklater has filmed three of nine sections of Merrily We Roll Along, his 20-year adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's 1981 show, he told a Zurich Film Festival audience, as reported on 28 September 2026 by The Hollywood Reporter. The fourth section films in a few months, he said.
