Paramount and 12 state attorneys general asked Judge Araceli Martinez-Olguin to approve their settlement clearing Paramount's takeover of Warner Bros Discovery, Variety reported 28 September. The deal is valued at $111 billion, according to Senator Booker's office. The filings defended it as vigorously negotiated with "teeth". The judge has not signed off.
