Six collections shortlisted for third PEN Heaney Prize

English PEN with Irish PEN/PEN na hÉireann and the Estate of Seamus Heaney announced six collections shortlisted for the 2026 PEN Heaney Prize. The prize, now in its third year, recognises a single-author collection, meaning one poet's book, published in the U.K. or Ireland on cultural or political events and human conditions.
