Police probe possible Iran link in RAF Fairford plot

British counter-terror police are examining a possible Iranian connection to a suspected plot near RAF Fairford, a British base used by U.S. forces, The Telegraph reported. Five men arrested in nearby Whelford on 27 September remain held on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act. Police have not confirmed the Iran lead, and no charges have been filed.
