Counter-terror police investigate possible Iran link in RAF Fairford plot

Counter-terror police are investigating a possible Iran link to a suspected plot near RAF Fairford, a UK base used by the US, The Telegraph reported. Five men arrested in nearby Whelford on 27 September are held on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist act. The Iran inquiry remains unconfirmed and no charges have been announced.
