Olympic champion Katy Marchant retires after 13 years

Olympic gold medallist Katy Marchant has announced her retirement from track cycling aged 33. The Briton ends a 13-year career with silver in the women's team sprint at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. She said she considered riding to Los Angeles 2028, adding: "It's not been a difficult decision."
