Ina Garten has refused offers to adapt her 2024 memoir Be Ready When The Luck Happens for film, Deadline reported on 27 September 2026. She told PEOPLE she has always rejected a biopic, a dramatised life story, PEOPLE reported on 26 September 2026. A producer would alter the story, she said: "It's my story. I get to keep it."
