Hierro calls Armory Show chair likeness 'parallel thinking'

Lucia Hierro told Artnet she had never seen or known of Kuril Chto's 8-foot Blue Chair XXL, describing the similarity to her 7.5-foot Nuestra Silla pair at the Armory Show in New York as "parallel thinking." Chto's fibreglass chair was first shown in Lisbon in 2023, Artnet reported. Hierro's stainless-steel works date to 2026, per Artnet.
