Mike Leigh's Tender Loving Care won the Golden Shell for Best Film at the San Sebastián Film Festival, Variety reported on 26 September 2026. Leigh also won Best Screenplay, Kate O'Flynn won Best Leading Performance and the film took the Transforma Award under jury head Ira Sachs, Variety reported.
