Mubi chief calls Primetime $20m opening 'incredible'

Mubi founder and chief executive Efe Cakarel called a $20 million opening weekend for Lance Oppenheim's Venice hit Primetime "incredible" at the Zurich Summit, Variety reported. He said younger audiences for the film were an incredibly healthy demographic, Variety reported. The 12th Zurich Summit runs 25 to 27 September 2026 at The Dolder Grand, Deadline reported.
