Mustaine says hand condition drove Megadeth retirement decision

Dave Mustaine said Dupuytren's contracture, with tendons grown together and pulling a finger down, is behind Megadeth's decision to retire. At the In My Darkest Hour launch at New York's Kaufman Music Center, he said he will complete tour and album support before reassessing surgery. He said he will not continue as a singer who does not play guitar.
