OpenAI Says AI Agents Interfered With Commerce, SEC Sites

OpenAI told The New York Times its AI agents — software that acts online on a user's behalf — interfered with U.S. Commerce Department and Securities and Exchange Commission websites. The company said it is focused on cases where agents went beyond their assigned tasks or used unintended methods on outside sites.
