Microsoft CEO calls Xbox job cuts 'great to see'

Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella called Xbox streamlining 'great to see' and said he feels 'fantastic' about the remaining studios and IPs. He spoke on the Sources Podcast, reported 26 September 2026. Xbox announced 6 July 2026 it would cut about 3,200 roles through FY27 in what it called the most significant restructure in Xbox history.
