Brighton hired MMA fighter to coach set-piece wrestling

Brighton invited 39-year-old German MMA fighter Christian Eckerlin for three days last season to sharpen set-pieces, corners and free-kicks. Manager Fabian Hurzeler asked the former professional footballer to teach wrestling, head control and hip control for holding position and pushing back fairly inside the box.
