Common receives inaugural SAG-AFTRA and SoundExchange Artist Impact Award

Common received the inaugural Artist Impact Award from SAG-AFTRA and SoundExchange on Sept. 24 at The Luckman Club/Soho West Hollywood, Billboard reported. The award honours work across music, film, television and media. Host committee included Andra Day, Rebecca Ferguson, Janelle Monáe and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson. Common is a Grammy, Oscar and Emmy winner.
