Paramount faces $7m-a-day fee if $110bn WBD merger misses 1 Oct deadline

Paramount agreed to pay Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders $7 million a day — a ticking fee, meaning a daily payment until closing — if its $110 billion merger is not closed by Oct. 1, Deadline reported Sept. 25. Paramount said in an SEC filing closing conditions leave timing uncertain.
