New Jersey's No. 2 Leader Resigns After Misconduct Report

New Jersey Lt. Gov. Dale Caldwell resigned Sept. 25, Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced. A 61-page investigation found credible evidence of sexual harassment and ethics violations — unwelcome romantic advances toward a staffer's friend and pushing for his girlfriend's promotion. Sherrill had urged him to step down a day earlier.
