Jane Doe says Jay-Z rape claim was false in sworn declaration

Jane Doe, who accused Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter of raping her aged 13, said in an 11-page sworn declaration filed in Manhattan that the claim was false. She said Carter never assaulted her and she never met him, Pitchfork reported. She added she was not paid for the statement. She dismissed the suit with prejudice in February 2025.
