Sonic chief says series is halfway to Disney-scale goal after 35 years

Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka said the Sonic franchise is still only halfway to its full potential. He told Japanese magazine Continue the original team set a goal to aim for Disney. He was told to dream big, including surpassing Disney and building a theme park. After 35 years, that goal is not yet reached, he said.
