Vroman's and Book Soup to pass from Sheldon family after 100 years

Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena and Book Soup in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, will pass to longtime customer Robert Hoffman and family, ending 100 years of Sheldon family leadership at Vroman's. Joel Sheldon led the shop for the last 50 years, according to Publishers Marketplace. Sheldon acquired Book Soup in 2009 after founder Glenn Goldman's death.
