Jay-Z accuser recants rape allegation in sworn declaration

The woman who accused Jay-Z of rape as a 13-year-old said in a sworn federal declaration filed Sept. 24, 2026, that he "never raped me" and she has "never met or spoken to Mr. Carter." She added he "never engaged in any inappropriate conduct" toward her. The case was dropped in February 2025, Billboard reported Sept. 25.
