Greek PM rejects Bayeux Tapestry loan as template for Parthenon deal

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis rejected British Museum in London director Nicholas Cullinan's suggestion that the Bayeux Tapestry loan could template a Parthenon sculptures loan deal. Writing in The Guardian in London on 24 September, he said Greece cannot recognise the museum's ownership or borrow its own monument, The Art Newspaper reported.
