Val Blavatnik, 28, named to lead Warner's North America and U.K. recorded music

Warner Music Group chief executive Robert Kyncl has named Val Blavatnik managing director of North America, U.K. and Corporate Development. Announced Sept. 25, he will oversee recorded music in two regions. The 28-year-old is the son of majority owner Len Blavatnik. A board member since 2023, he previously worked at LionTree and Warner Chappell Music.
