Microsoft merges Copilot chat, coding and agents into one app

Microsoft launched a rebuilt Copilot app on Sept. 25 that puts chat, coding help, and autonomous agents — software that can complete tasks — in one place. It has Home, Code and Autopilot tabs, with Home as default showing Chat and Cowork together. Cowork, Code and Autopilot charge by use; Chat stays on existing Copilot subscriptions.
