Microsoft puts its chat, coding and task helpers in one app

Microsoft released a new Copilot app on Sept. 25 that combines conversation, computer-programming help, and helpers that can do jobs on their own in one place. It has Home, Code and Autopilot sections, opening by default on Home with Chat and Cowork together. Cowork, Code and Autopilot charge for what you use; Chat stays on current Copilot plans.
