Rio Film Festival sets 'La Bola Negra' to open, 'Club Kid' to close

Rio Film Festival will open Oct. 1 with Los Javis's 'La Bola Negra' and close Oct. 11 with Jordan Firstman's 'Club Kid,' Variety reported. The Oct. 1-11 edition holds more than 270 features, Variety reported. Artistic director Ilda Santiago told Variety the choices 'translate our desire to be in communication with younger audiences.'
