Earl Spencer alleges then-Prince Charles was 'giddily elated' after Diana's death

Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer, alleges in Swan Song: Diana, my Sister, published 22 September, that the then-Prince Charles acted "giddily elated" after Diana, Princess of Wales died in 1997. The book also alleges he told Spencer "We'll forget her soon enough". Spencer has defended his claims about King Charles III in a BBC interview.
