Black Bear acquires global rights to Laika's Atmosphere

Black Bear has acquired global rights to Atmosphere, Laika's live-action adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid's bestseller, after competitive bidding, Deadline reported. It will co-finance, sell rights territory by territory and release theatrically in the US, Deadline reported. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck adapted the 1980s Shuttle-era romance and will direct, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
