Morphine to release archival album Cocoon on Dec. 4

Morphine will release Cocoon, an eight-song archival album of previously unreleased songs, on Dec. 4 via Partisan Records, the band confirmed on its official website. The music was recorded in 1998 with producers Paul Q. Kolderie and Sean Slade, before frontman Mark Sandman's 1999 death, after which the group disbanded, Rolling Stone reported.
