U2 to release first album of new songs in nine years on Nov. 13

U2 will release Carnaval de Luz on Nov. 13, the band confirmed on Sept. 24. The 12-track album is its first of new songs in nine years, as set out in a Rolling Stone interview. It was produced by Garret "Jacknife" Lee. Single "Silencio" is already out.
