Toulouse finish eighth to edge Catalans for first time in 25 years

Toulouse Olympique finished eighth in Super League in 2026, above Catalans Dragons on points difference for the first time in 25 years. Promoted as Championship winners in 2025, it was only their second top-flight season. They did it on half central funding, according to The Guardian, and won more games than Hull FC, Castleford and Huddersfield.
