11-Year-Old Dies After Norwest Shooting, Shifting Police Inquiry

An 11-year-old boy shot in the face and neck in a Norwest unit died about 8pm Thursday. Police found him after a Fairway Drive call about 5pm Monday. Paramedics, emergency medics, treated him there, then took him to Westmead children's hospital, where he stayed critical. Police now investigate a fatal shooting.
