Leicestershire to appeal 27-point deduction for poor Glamorgan pitch

Leicestershire will appeal the 27-point deduction for the pitch used in August's 42-run Championship win over Glamorgan. Chief executive Emma White confirmed the challenge before the final game away to Warwickshire. The penalty wiped out 19 points, added eight more and a £5,000 fine, leaving the club bottom of Division One.
