U.S. Invites Putin to December G20 Summit in Miami

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the U.S. has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit in Miami in December. Rubio spoke after meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the U.N. conference in New York. Putin has not attended a G20 in person since 2019.
