Asian currencies flat Sept. 23 as weaker oil eases pressure

Asian currencies barely moved against the U.S. dollar on Sept. 23, the WSJ reported, as crude-oil prices fell on easing Middle East tensions. Consolidation — trader shorthand for little net movement. I read cheaper crude as possible relief on fuel and import costs, but not yet a clear direction for currencies.
