Far-right activist slashed Channel dinghy with rescuer aboard

Far-right activist Daniel Thomas, known as Danny Tommo, slashed an inflatable dinghy carrying asylum seekers in the Channel on 22 September while a rescue worker was aboard, livestreaming to 100,000 viewers. Hampshire police say inquiries are underway. The RNLI, Britain's lifeboat service, transferred those rescued to Border Force. Private-boat conduct near rescues may face closer scrutiny.
