Parsons finds plastics in almost every surface of Minnesota factory-built home

Parsons School of Design's Healthy Materials Lab found plastics and toxic additives in nearly every major surface — flooring, paint, cabinetry, insulation — of an affordable factory-built home sold in Minnesota. Its report of 22 September names polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene, concentrated in kitchens and bathrooms. Northstar Systembuilt did not respond to Dezeen's request for comment.
