Jensen Ackles will star as Lucas Davenport in Rules of Prey, Deadline reported on 22 September 2026. MGM+ ordered the drama straight to series, meaning no pilot is shot first, for eight episodes, according to the report. Adapted from John Sandford's first Prey novel, it comes from MGM Television and Take 5 Productions. Filming will take place in Toronto.
