Cuts at Blizzard are said to be "imminent", Eurogamer reported on 22 September 2026. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier said on the 8-4 podcast: "To your point: yes the Blizzard layoffs are coming and imminent". The report came a week after BlizzCon 2026 and days after the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. No roles count confirmed.
