Nick Daicos wins first Brownlow with record 47 votes

Collingwood midfielder Nick Daicos, 23, won the 2026 Brownlow Medal with a record 47 votes. The AFL said three records fell on the night. Umpires vote 3-2-1 after each home-and-away game for the league's best-and-fairest. Daicos claimed the honour after three near misses, the ABC reported.
