Apple's Battersea hall combines flexible stage and surround sound

Apple will open Apple Music Hall beneath its European headquarters in Battersea Power Station on September 28th. The 600-capacity venue has a 38-foot stage that can be reshaped, a 48-speaker system that places sound around listeners, wiring for 16-plus broadcast cameras, and two recording and mixing studios behind the stage.
