Earl Spencer memoir claims King Charles said Diana would be forgotten

Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer, claims in 'Swan Song: Diana, My Sister', published 22 September, that King Charles III said of Diana, Princess of Wales, "we'll forget her soon enough". Hello! reports the book also calls him "giddy" and "giddily elated" after her 1997 death. Buckingham Palace said fraternal grief can "cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory".
