Art Institute of Chicago returns Metzinger painting to Lewenstein heirs

The Art Institute of Chicago in the United States returned Jean Metzinger's 1913 Woman with a Fan to the heirs of Emanuel Lewenstein, the museum said on 22 September. Lewenstein was a Jewish collector, The Art Newspaper reported. The announcement did not say what the heirs plan next.
