UN Expert Says US Strikes on Drug Boats May Be Crimes Against Humanity

UN-appointed investigator Ben Saul says there are reasonable grounds to believe 68 U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats were murder as a crime against humanity. In a briefing note posted Sunday, he reported 223 killed and rejected U.S. self-defence claims. The Caribbean and Pacific campaign began in September 2025 to stop drug trafficking.
