UN Expert Says US Attacks on Drug Boats Were Very Serious Crimes

A UN expert, Ben Saul, says there is reason to think 68 U.S. attacks on suspected drug boats amount to mass unlawful killing. In a note posted Sunday, he put deaths at 223 and rejected America's self-defence claim. The Caribbean and Pacific attacks began in September 2025 to stop drug smuggling. That is a grave global crime, like mass murder.
