ACT promises to scrap Zero Carbon Act if in government

ACT launched its rural campaign on 20 September, promising to scrap the Zero Carbon Act — the law setting emissions targets — and end the Net Zero goal if in government after 7 November. Agriculture spokesperson Andrew Hoggard said the party wanted to keep Wellington out of farming.
