ACT says it would scrap NZ's main climate law

ACT started its rural campaign on 20 September, promising to scrap New Zealand's main climate law, the Zero Carbon Act, and its no net emissions goal, if in government after 7 November. Agriculture spokesperson Andrew Hoggard said the party wanted to keep Wellington, meaning central government, out of farming.
