Qantas Sets Non-Stop Record With Sydney-London Flight in 2027

Qantas launches non-stop Sydney-London service in October 2027, covering 17,000 kilometres in roughly 20 hours—surpassing Singapore Airlines' current ultra-long-haul record of 19 hours. The route eliminates the stopover that has defined every Australia-Europe itinerary. Qantas will deploy specially modified Airbus A350 aircraft with enhanced fuel capacity and redesigned cabins for the extended flight.
