Qantas to Launch World's Longest Non-Stop Flight in October 2027

Qantas will begin non-stop Sydney-London service in October 2027, covering 17,000 kilometres in roughly 20 hours. The flight surpasses Singapore Airlines' current record—Singapore to New York at 19 hours—and eliminates the traditional stopover that every prior Australia-Europe itinerary required. Qantas will operate the route using specially modified Airbus A350 aircraft with enhanced fuel capacity and redesigned cabins for extended ultra-long-haul operations.
